These terms apply when you visit bitbyte.games or play any game made by BitByte.games ("we", "us"). By using the site or playing our games, you agree to them. We've kept them short and in plain English.

Playing our games

• You're welcome to play our games for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment.
• Please don't copy, resell, modify, reverse-engineer or redistribute the games or their artwork, music or code, except where the law allows it.
• If you get a game from Google Play or the App Store, that store's own terms also apply to the download and to any purchase.

Your progress

Your game progress is saved on your own device. We can't see it or restore it, so if you uninstall a game, change device or clear your browser's data, your progress may be lost.

Fair use of the website

Please don't try to disrupt the site, break its security, or use it for anything unlawful.

Who owns what

The games, the BitByte.games name, and the site's design, text and artwork belong to BitByte.games or the people who license them to us. Google Play and the Google Play logo are trademarks of Google LLC; Apple and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc.

Changes and availability

We're always improving things, so we may update, change or stop offering a game, a feature or the website at any time. We try hard to keep everything running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of bugs.

Our responsibility to you

Our games and site are provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss that comes from using them, such as lost progress. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have by law that can't be excluded, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

How we handle data is explained in our Privacy Policy. In short: we don't collect personal data.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If you keep using the site or our games after a change, the new terms apply.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere, you still keep any consumer protections the law of your home country gives you.
